Construction Quality Management for Contractors certificate, the required degree, and the required comparable construction experience. Position Summary Huot Construction & Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to manage quality-control activities on federal construction projects. The QCM will establish, implement, document, and maintain project-specific Contractor Quality Control programs. Responsibilities include managing the three-phase quality-control process, reviewing submittals, coordinating testing and inspections, tracking deficiencies, maintaining quality-control records, and verifying that construction complies with contract documents and approved submittals. This is a dedicated quality-control position. Depending on each contract's requirements, the QCM may be required to remain onsite full-time and may be prohibited from simultaneously serving as the Superintendent or SSHO. Required Qualifications Applicants must meet all the following requirements: Undergraduate degree in Construction Management. At least five years of construction experience on projects valued of 5-10 Million in hospital/medical settings Current

Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification. Demonstrated experience implementing the USACE three-phase control process: Preparatory phase Initial phase Follow-up phase Experience preparing or administering a Contractor Quality Control Plan. Experience reviewing plans, specifications, approved submittals, shop drawings, testing requirements, and contract documents. Experience maintaining daily quality-control reports and deficiency logs. Ability to exercise independent authority over quality-control matters, including stopping or rejecting nonconforming work. Ability to work full-time onsite when required by the assigned contract. Ability to travel throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Upper Midwest. Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction-document management platforms. Valid driver's license. Preferred Experience VA, USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, or other federal construction Occupied healthcare facilities Fire alarm, electrical, mechanical, or infrastructure projects Infection-control and ICRA requirements Federal testing and commissioning RMS or similar federal quality-control reporting Procore Secure-facility badging and access requirements Essential Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Contractor Quality Control Plans. Establish the project quality-control organization and lines of authority. Develop and maintain the Definable Features of Work list. Conduct and document preparatory, initial, and follow-up control phases. Review contract drawings, specifications, amendments, submittals, RFIs, and approved changes. Verify that required materials and equipment are approved before delivery or installation. Verify that onsite materials are properly stored, protected, and ready for use. Coordinate testing agencies, inspections, commissioning activities, and acceptance testing. Review subcontractor qualifications, product data, shop drawings, test reports, certifications, and closeout deliverables. Maintain daily CQC reports documenting work activities, personnel, testing, inspections, deficiencies, corrective actions, and delays. Identify nonconforming work and prevent deficient work from being concealed or built upon. Maintain a deficiency log and verify completion of corrective work. Coordinate quality-control meetings with subcontractors, testing agencies, and project personnel. Support pre-final and final inspections. Manage punch-list completion and acceptance documentation. Maintain current record drawings and quality-control records. Coordinate O&M manuals, warranties, training records, test reports, and closeout documentation. Use Procore and other project platforms for documentation, reporting, and communication.
