As we grow, we are looking for an experienced and results-driven Quality Assurance Manager to lead and enhance our quality management systems, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead and manage all quality assurance activities while ensuring compliance with company, customer, regulatory, and safety requirements. The successful candidate will oversee quality systems, manage QA sample programs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a strong culture of safety and quality throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance Management Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for the facilities. Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, customer requirements, and company quality guidelines. Manage laboratory operations, testing protocols, product inspections, and quality documentation. Analyze quality metrics, process data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with production and operations teams to enhance product consistency, process capability, and overall plant performance. Oversee internal audits and support external customer, regulatory, and certification audits. Monitor supplier quality performance and collaborate with vendors as needed. Develop and maintain quality reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Train and mentor quality team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Manage customer quality concerns and ensure the timely resolution of complaints and non-conformances. Support new product development, process improvements, and quality-related projects. Safety Management Support and promote a culture of workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements and company safety policies. Participate in safety audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations. Develop and implement corrective actions to reduce workplace risks and improve safety performance. Conduct safety training and ensure employees understand quality and safety procedures. Serve as a key member of safety committees and continuous improvement teams. QA Sample Management Oversee the collection, labeling, storage, retention, and disposal of quality assurance samples. Maintain sample inventory and tracking systems to ensure traceability and compliance. Coordinate testing schedules and sample submissions with internal laboratories and external testing facilities. Review and approve sample testing results and ensure timely reporting. Verify proper documentation and record retention for all QA samples. Investigate sample deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented when required. Team Leadership Manage, mentor, and develop quality assurance personnel. Establish performance goals and provide coaching and performance evaluations. Promote cross-functional collaboration and employee engagement. Lead training programs related to quality systems, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. 5+ years of quality assurance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with regulatory compliance and workplace safety programs. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Preferred ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent certification. Experience with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, GMP, HACCP, SQF, or other industry-specific standards. Experience managing laboratory testing programs and QA sample retention systems. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
