Job Description

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a high-volume clinical lab supporting patient care across Central Texas. This role manages a team of laboratory professionals, ensuring accurate, timely diagnostic testing and strict adherence to quality, regulatory, and safety standards. Responsibilities include scheduling, training, performance evaluation, troubleshooting instruments and assays, and driving continuous process improvement. The Supervisor partners closely with pathologists and clinicians to support exceptional patient-focused service in a collaborative, quality-driven environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the clinical laboratory section, ensuring accurate and timely test processing. Oversee staff scheduling, workload distribution, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Monitor test results, QC data, and instrument performance, escalating issues as needed. Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel, supporting ongoing competency and development. Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory and accreditation requirements. Collaborate with pathologists, clinicians, and other departments to resolve testing and service issues. Participate in process improvement, workflow optimization, and implementation of new technologies. Maintain inventory, coordinate maintenance, and support documentation, audits, and inspections.
