This role is responsible for setting quality standards and specifications across products, materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes; leading the investigation of customer complaints and process nonconformities; and building the team and systems needed to catch issues before they reach our customers. You'll lead a small team of quality inspectors, partner closely with Operations and Product Development, and report to the Director of Product Development. The ideal candidate has a strong quality engineering background, is comfortable leading people and processes on a fast-moving manufacturing floor, and has a genuine drive to protect product quality and the customer experience. What You'll Do Own and continuously improve Enso's Quality Management System, including documentation, procedures, and standards for product manufacturing Lead, hire, and develop a team of quality inspectors; set expectations, coach performance, and build quality capability Lead Corrective and Preventive Action programs: investigation, deviation handling, root cause analysis, and effectiveness verification Own risk management and quality onboarding for new products, materials, and processes, including first-article and incoming material qualifications Define and track Quality KPIs (defect rates, first-pass yield, complaint rates.) and present regular reports to leadership and supporting teams Oversee in-process and finished-goods inspection and testing, and manage the incoming inspection process for raw materials and components Maintain workplace safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance across the production floor Use data (Excel, and ERP system) to analyze trends, identify systemic issues, and drive data-informed process improvements Champion a culture of continuous improvement and quality ownership across the production teams Manage the Customer Returns, including the returns/complaint database, root cause investigation, and closing the loop with Customer Service and Operations Other duties as required What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality management, ideally in a manufacturing or consumer products environment Experience leading or supervising a team, or clear readiness to step into people leadership Hands-on experience with Corrective and Preventive Action processes and root cause analysis methodologies Previous experience with quality inspection, incoming material qualification, and in-process testing Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field preferred (equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; comfort working with quality/data systems (QMS, ERP, or similar) is a plus ASQ certification (CQE, CQM/OE, or similar) is a plus, not required Familiarity with Ai/LLMs and building tools to assist in data collection and analysis Required Traits & Abilities Live and Believe in Enso's Mission to be a Force for Good Embrace the philosophy of Love Yourself and Love Others Strong organizational skills and highly detail-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to give and take direct, constructive feedback Self-starting multi-tasker who can prioritize in a fast-paced environment Dependable and accountable, both individually and as a leader of others Collaborative team player who builds trust across departments Continuous improvement mindset Eagerness to learn and grow with the company Enso Rings Company Overview As a fast-growing leader in the silicone rings industry (you might have seen us on Shark Tank), Enso Rings is on a mission to disrupt the traditional jewelry industry while being a force for good in the world.
