Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Control and Sales Representative to join our innovative manufacturing team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure product excellence through rigorous quality inspection while actively engaging with clients to promote our high-quality offerings. This paid position provides a platform to develop your expertise in quality systems, manufacturing processes, and sales strategies within a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensional measurements and adherence to quality standards in production. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate product fabrication and compliance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and other regulatory standards. Perform regular quality audits utilizing tools like Calypso software and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to identify deviations from quality management systems (QMS) and implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of measurement data, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, GMP, and other legal requirements. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve quality assurance processes by analyzing data trends, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending process improvements aligned with ISO standards. Engage with clients or sales teams to understand customer requirements, provide technical support on product specifications, and promote the company's commitment to quality excellence. Assist in training staff on proper measurement techniques, calibration procedures for precision instruments, and adherence to quality control protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment; familiarity with QA/QC procedures is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, GD&T symbols, and production documents accurately. Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other precision tools. Knowledge of
ISO 9001, ISO 13485
(medical devices), FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP principles, and regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to manufacturing sectors. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing quality management systems; familiarity with Calypso software is a plus. Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for dimensional measurements and data collection accuracy. Basic math skills for precise measurement calculations; ability to interpret manufacturing data effectively. Mechanical aptitude complemented by strong communication skills for coordinating between production teams and clients. Have previous work relationships with both suppliers and customers.
