10083 Folsom Blvd, Suite D, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 About Us Smog Zone is a BAR-licensed, STAR-certified smog inspection station in Rancho Cordova. We're a fast-growing shop with high daily inspection volume, and we're looking for a licensed Smog Technician to join our team. What You'll Do Perform California smog inspections (OIS/EIS) in compliance with BAR and CARB standards Operate BAR-97 emissions analyzer equipment and related diagnostic tools Accurately document test results, gear selection, and vehicle data Maintain high FPR (Failure Point Ratio) performance and compliance standards Communicate clearly with customers about inspection results Keep the bay and equipment clean, calibrated, and in working order What We Offer Overtime available on top of your base hourly rate Bonus paid on every vehicle successfully inspected — the more you inspect, the more you earn Supportive, growth-focused ownership Requirements Active California BAR Smog Check Inspector License (required) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test documentation Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop Preferred (not required) STAR station experience How to Apply Apply directly on Indeed or stop by Smog Zone at 10083 Folsom Blvd, Suite D, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670.
