We are currently hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician position at a candy processing plant in San Bernardino. 4am - 6am start time $18.00 -$19.00 Monday-Friday ( Overtime as needed)
Requirements:
1+ year of QC experience in a food environment Bilingual/Spanish No allergies to nuts, walnuts, or peanuts. Position Summary The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that all food products meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and food safety regulations. This position performs routine inspections, monitors production processes, conducts product testing, and documents quality results to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and company policies. Essential Job Duties Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine quality checks, including weight, appearance, packaging, labeling, and product specifications. Monitor production lines to verify compliance with food safety and quality procedures. Collect product samples for testing and maintain accurate records of inspection results. Identify and report quality issues or non-conforming products to supervisors. Verify that sanitation and GMP standards are followed throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with
HACCP, FDA, USDA
(if applicable), and company food safety requirements. Complete quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with investigations of quality concerns and implement corrective actions as directed. Communicate effectively with production, sanitation, and warehouse personnel regarding quality issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (812 hour shifts). Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
