Job Description

Full Steam Staffing is seeking a Quality Technician to support Quality Assurance functions related to raw material and finished product testing. This position helps ensure products meet established quality and food safety specifications while following all applicable SOPs, SSOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety requirements, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, and product quality standards. Medical, Dental, AD&D What You ll DoMonitor and program Critical Control Points (CCPs) and ensure food safety and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Perform sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other designated areas.

Accurately complete, maintain, and file quality records, logs, and documentation.

Ensure recipe guidelines and product specifications are followed during processing.

Work closely with production staff to provide education and support regarding sanitation, hygiene, GMPs, and food safety practices.

Issue disciplinary action when directed by QA Management.

Collect product samples for product development, laboratory testing, and retention purposes as needed.

Perform inspections of products, equipment, and machinery.

Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by QA Management. What You ll Need1 3 years of experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment.2+ years of experience in a meat or poultry processing environment preferred.

Bachelor s degree or diploma in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, allergens, and food defense.

HACCP Certification preferred.

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
