The role independently interprets controlled requirements, selects appropriate routine inspection methods, documents results, maintains traceability, controls nonconforming product, and escalates genuinely unclear, conflicting, or higher-risk issues to the Quality Control Inspector III/Lead or Quality Manager. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training, certification, or college coursework is preferred. Demonstrated manufacturing Quality Control inspection experience, or equivalent education and experience sufficient to independently perform the responsibilities of this position. Typically two or more years of relevant inspection experience is preferred. Ability to independently read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, inspection plans, approved samples/visual standards, and customer requirements. Working knowledge of GD&T sufficient for assigned inspection requirements. Proficiency with routine precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, height gauges, go/no-go gauges, thread gauges, and other assigned equipment. Ability to independently select an appropriate routine measurement method and obtain repeatable results. Ability to operate established programs or recipes on assigned vision or advanced inspection equipment and accurately record results. Proficiency with electronic inspection/quality-record systems, traceability controls, and nonconforming-product documentation. Ability to work independently, make sound acceptance decisions within documented requirements, and clearly escalate unclear or conflicting requirements. Strong communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills. Controlled Requirements:
Independently applies current work instructions, inspection plans, approved samples/visual standards, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements; escalates unclear or conflicting requirements before making an acceptance decision. Visual Inspection /

Consistently applies documented acceptance criteria and distinguishes acceptable product from nonconforming product.
Measurement Equipment & Technique:
Independently determines the appropriate routine measurement method, selects and correctly uses suitable inspection equipment, and obtains repeatable results. Calibration /
Gauge Verification:
Verifies calibration/verification status, identification, condition, and required pre-use checks before inspection.
Inspection Plans & Sampling:
Independently follows required inspection frequencies, sampling plans, and applicable startup/first-piece, in-process, and final inspection requirements. Startup /
New Part Inspection:
Independently completes startup or first-piece inspection for familiar or unfamiliar parts using controlled requirements and established inspection methods; escalates only when requirements or methods are genuinely unclear. Inspection Documentation /
Quality Records:
Accurately and independently enters inspection results and completes required quality records.
Traceability & Product Identification:
Verifies part number, revision/status, job/work order, lot, cavity, labels, and other required traceability before accepting product. Nonconforming Product /
Holds:
Properly segregates, labels, contains, documents, and escalates suspect or nonconforming material in accordance with established procedures. Vision /
Advanced Inspection Equipment:
Runs established programs or recipes on assigned vision or advanced inspection equipment, verifies system status, and records results independently.
Molding Defect & Process Awareness:
Correctly identifies common injection-molding defects and communicates relevant machine, cavity, material, and process information without making unsupported process changes.

Clearly communicates defect, quantity/scope, job, machine/cavity, status, and required follow-up and provides effective shift handoff. Problem Solving / Training /
Leadership:
Supports basic root-cause activities and can train or assist another inspector on tasks for which the Level II inspector is qualified. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Independently perform incoming, startup/first-piece, in-process, and final inspections for familiar and unfamiliar parts using applicable controlled requirements and appropriate routine inspection methods. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, inspection plans, approved samples, customer requirements, and applicable GD&T to make documented acceptance decisions. Select and correctly use appropriate routine measurement equipment and verify equipment condition and calibration/verification status before use. Complete required inspection and traceability records accurately and independently in the applicable electronic or paper quality-record system. Properly segregate, label, contain, document, and escalate suspect or nonconforming material and support sorting/containment activities when required. Operate established programs/recipes on assigned vision or advanced inspection equipment and perform routine troubleshooting within qualification. Perform capability studies and Cpk data collection/calculations when assigned and qualified. Support root-cause investigations, nonconformance and corrective-action activities, and verification of corrective actions as assigned. Train or assist developing inspectors on tasks for which qualified and support their development toward independent performance. Support in-house calibration/verification activities when trained and authorized. Follow applicable Quality Management System, safety, and company requirements and perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around production equipment and varying noise levels. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive inspection activities for extended periods as required by the work. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds when required. Manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination sufficient to safely use inspection and measurement equipment. Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with applicable safety requirements.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
