Job Description Develop, modify, validate, and troubleshoot CMM programs for new and existing products Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar metrology platforms Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to develop inspection strategies Perform first article inspections, capability studies, Gage R&R studies, and validation activities Analyze dimensional inspection data and provide recommendations for process improvements Partner with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Tooling teams to resolve measurement and inspection challenges MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A successful CMM Programmer should have: 3+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience within a manufacturing environment Experience creating and modifying CMM programs independently, not simply operating existing programs Proficiency with PC-DMIS, Calypso, or comparable CMM software Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings Experience performing mechanical inspections using precision measurement equipment Familiarity with SPC, capability studies, Gage
R&R, CAD
