Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Parts Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all parts and components meet strict quality standards through meticulous inspection, measurement, and analysis. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our products, uphold regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dimensional and visual inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to verify parts against specifications. Utilize measurement techniques such as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to assess part accuracy and consistency. Collect, analyze, and document inspection data accurately for quality control reports and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with manufacturing team to address non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and verify resolution effectiveness. Skills Proficiency with calibration and operation of measuring instruments including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines, vision systems, and other precision measurement tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents. Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail for dimensional measurements, data collection, and problem-solving. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy levels using tools like height gauges, and vision inspection systems. Basic math skills for precise measurement calculations and data interpretation. Knowledge of Hexagon PC-DMIS for CMM is a plus. Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
