Coat Inspector (2nd Shift, IPC-610)

Location:

Clearwater, FL (Onsite)

Pay:

$19.00 to $28.00 per hour, overtime eligible Employment type: Contract (W-2), approximately 12 months, with opportunity for full-time conversion

Schedule:

2nd shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, weekend OT (about 8 hrs/week) Security clearance: None required About the role Inspect solder joints and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies to IPC standards in an electronics manufacturing environment. J-STD-001

Inspect surface mount and plated through-hole solder connections and apply accept/reject criteria Work from process instructions, drawings, inspection instructions and checklists Use measuring devices such as dial indicators, preset micrometers and scales Communicate quality defects clearly and diplomatically with operations What you bring 2+ years visually inspecting SMT and through-hole solder connections to IPC-A-610 and

IPC J-STD-001

(must be shown on resume) 2+ years of solder and conformal coating inspection experience Ability to navigate IPC standards and interpret drawings, parts lists and work instructions Detail oriented team player with strong communication and PC skills Available Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, plus weekend overtime Must pass a pre-assignment medical exam; read and write English Nice to have
