Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for review and continuous improvement. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments to guarantee measurement precision. Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions aligned with quality management systems. Support manufacturing by verifying that production processes adhere to regulatory and legal compliance standards. Assist in the development and review of inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation. Participate in internal audits, external inspections, and supplier evaluations to uphold quality assurance standards. Experience Proven experience in quality inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Ability to perform data collection, analysis, and generate detailed reports for management review. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in basic math skills essential for precise measurements. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions within regulated industries. Familiarity with manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, and packaging operations. Strong understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards applicable to medical devices or other regulated products.
