In this role, you will perform visual inspections and utilize mechanical, chemical, and electrical testing methods to identify defects such as uneven coatings, scratches, or non-conforming finishes.

Qualifications and Requirements Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electroplating and inspection activities, including hands-on experience with receiving, in-process, and final inspections.

Technical Proficiency:

Demonstrated proficiency with inspection tools and non-contact measurement instruments, including Eddy Current testing.

Quality Knowledge:

Clear understanding of First Article, Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection procedures alongside familiarity with the AS9100 Quality Management System.

Computer Skills:

strong computer proficiency for data entry, documentation, reporting, and tracking inspection results.

Sample Preparation:

Prepare test samples for inspection and testing procedures.

Specification Comparison:

Compare inspection and test results against established engineering specifications.

Non-Conformance Management:

Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials, ensuring proper disposition and routing for rework.

Documentation & Systems:

Complete and maintain accurate inspection records utilizing computer systems for data entry and reporting.
