Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finishing/Extrusion Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all finished products and extruded materials meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of quality control systems will play an important role in maintaining product consistency and operational excellence. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision, compliance, and continuous improvement are essential to daily operations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of finished products and extruded materials using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify conformance to specifications. Utilize calibration tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to assess dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Perform routine quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and HACCP standards to ensure compliance across all processes. Document inspection results accurately through data collection methods and maintain detailed records for traceability and analysis. Identify non-conformities or deviations from quality standards, initiate corrective actions, and communicate findings effectively to production teams. Participate in root cause analysis activities and support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system (QMS). Assist in conducting internal audits related to QA/QC processes, ensuring adherence to CGMP guidelines and ISO standards. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing quality control or inspection roles within a regulated environment. Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, quality systems, and quality management practices such as
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, or similar standards. Familiarity with calibration and measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and CMMs. Experience working with FDA regulations, HACCP protocols, and CGMP guidelines is highly desirable. Ability to analyze data accurately and perform detailed inspections using precision measuring instruments. Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills for identifying issues promptly.
