Job Description

Pay:

$19/hr Key Duties Enhanced Quality Checks Check parts for dimensional issues Louvers

  • Inspect for flatness, bowing, and twist. Beams/Posts
  • Verify squareness and check for flatness, bowing, and twist. Pivot Parts
  • Confirm hole spacing and depth accuracy.

Measure all parts for correct length. Conduct a final inspection of all parts for defects and overall quality issues on all four sides. Job Verification Certify each job with a QC stamp verifying part accuracy and quality. Ensure all parts are properly wrapped, tagged, stacked, and accounted for on skids. Confirm strapping, edge protection, and packaging to prevent shipping damage. Take final pictures and log job documentation in SharePoint. Act as a final safeguard to prevent missing or defective parts from leaving the powder plant. Operator Duties Wrap, tag, and stage parts in accordance with StruXure standards. Keep the inspection and wrapping area organized, safe, and clean at all times. Report defective material, packaging issues, and missing parts to Quality Techs and the Production Team. Assist with other production and operator duties as needed. Skills Needed Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional defects. Proficiency in using quality tools such as tape measures, calipers, and go/no-go gauges. Basic computer skills. Accountability in documentation and logging requirements. Ability to work collaboratively with Quality, Production, and Shipping. Final Inspection Operator I Requirements High School Diploma. 2+ years previous experience in an inspection or quality assurance role, preferable in a manufacturing environment.
