Quality Control Technician

Job Description

Job description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support our manufacturing and packaging operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring compliance with health and safety standards, and helping ensure that manufactured cannabis goods meet quality requirements. The Quality Control Technician works closely with manufacturing, packaging, and compliance staff, and reports directly to the Production Director. Key Responsibilities Track and log manufacturing data, including lot numbers, weights, allergens, temperatures, and sanitizer use Complete and file shift checklists and batch tickets Help monitor for allergen cross-contact and verify label accuracy Inspect incoming ingredients and storage areas, logging lot numbers and expiration dates Support tracking of quality metrics in line with state regulations and processing procedures Assist with internal audits of manufacturing operations and facility documentation Support production and packaging tasks as needed Report any quality or compliance issues to the Production Director Good organizational and time management skills High attention to detail, especially with logging and documentation Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures accurately Some prior experience logging sanitizer use, weights, or basic quality control tasks is a plus Comfortable working in a manufacturing/food production environment Qualifications Good organizational and time management skills High attention to detail, especially with logging and documentation Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures accurately Some prior experience logging sanitizer use, weights, or basic quality control tasks is a plus Comfortable working in a manufacturing/food production environment Must be 21 years of age or older. Must pass a mandated state-required background check, including fingerprinting. Must have reliable self-transportation, as the facility is located on the North Shore.
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
