Job Title:

Quality Line Inspector Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Line Inspector to support production operations by ensuring products meet established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This individual will inspect materials, monitor production lines, document quality data, and collaborate with operators and supervisors to maintain product integrity, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform visual and physical inspections of products throughout the manufacturing and packaging process. Monitor production lines to verify adherence to quality specifications and standard operating procedures. Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns, defects, or non-conforming products. Accurately record inspection results, production data, and quality metrics. Conduct routine quality checks, measurements, and testing as required. Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and product appearance standards are met. Assist with investigations of quality issues and support corrective actions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards. Work closely with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to support operational goals. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and company policies. Essential Skills Quality control and assurance expertise. Proficiency in quality checks and inspections. At least 1 year of quality inspection experience. Experience in a manufacturing team conducting quality checks on products. Ability to read blueprints and work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in manufacturing, production, quality inspection, or quality control. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies. Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation. Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software systems. Effective communication skills with team members and supervisors. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work on the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with training commencing at 7 am on the first two days. Join a team of 8 people within the Mill Team, where the pace can vary from slow to busy, and opportunities for overtime are abundant. The facility is dusty, non-temperature controlled, and involves chemical manufacturing with potential strong fumes. Uniforms, safety shoes, hard hats, safety glasses, and hearing protection are provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Hill, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
