Job Description

POSITION
Quality Inspector Part Time, (20 hours a week) anytime from 7AM to 3:30PM.
Pay:
Hourly, $18 to $23 an hour based on experience

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all medical imaging devices and components meet internal specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in upholding Del Medical's commitment to product quality, reliability, and safety in accordance with
FDA, ISO
13485, and cGMP standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of components, subassemblies, and finished products. Use measuring tools and equipment to verify product specifications and tolerances. Conduct quality tests according to standard operating procedures. Document and report test results, identifying and escalating non-conformances. Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection and test results. Complete inspection reports and other documentation in compliance with quality standards. Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes. Provide input on ways to optimize inspection and testing procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards. Support regulatory audits and inspections as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus. Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment. Basic knowledge of quality management systems and procedures. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and make decisions based on quality criteria. Del Medical is an equal opportunity employer.
