Electro-Mechanical Technician The Electro-Mechanical Technician assembles lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and power-electronics sub-assemblies while supporting production operations and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. This role combines hands-on electrical and mechanical work, including inspection, testing, and documentation, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities + Assemble lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and power-electronics sub-assemblies according to specifications and work instructions. + Perform electrical, functional, and visual inspections on components and finished products to verify quality and performance. + Assist with production line installation and workstation setup, including configuring tools, fixtures, and equipment as needed. + Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and test equipment such as multimeters and power supplies to build and verify assemblies. + Identify and report defects, test failures, safety concerns, or process issues promptly to support continuous improvement. + Accurately complete production and quality documentation, ensuring records are clear, complete, and compliant with procedures. + Maintain a clean, safe, and ESD -controlled work area, following established safety and electrostatic discharge control practices. Essential Skills + Proven experience in electrical assembly and troubleshooting within a production or manufacturing environment. + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment. + Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. + Proficiency with soldering and wiring for electronic assemblies. + Familiarity with ESD (electrostatic discharge) controls and safe handling of sensitive electronic components. + Demonstrated attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and product quality. + High school diploma or GED . + Approximately 3 or more years of experience in electronics or manufacturing (preferred).
