Job Description

P osition : Quality Weld Technician 2nd shift About NHK Seating of America NHK is proud to operate as a drug-free workplace. The Frankfort plant supports an Automotive company in Lafayette. We supply the seats in a fast-paced, Just-In-Time environment. Manufacturing Engineers design, implement, and improve assembly processes for seat manufacturing. You will work with a highly motivated cross-functional team and deliver turnkey solutions to enable seat production at rate. NHK Seating of America is an Automotive parts supplier located in Frankfort, Indiana seeking qualified individual for a Manufacturing Engineer position with growth potential.
Schedule:
2nd Shift, 6:00 pm - completion $23.35 Responsibilities and Skills Display a working knowledge understanding of the company handbook, customer requirements and quality standards. Inspect materials, components and assemblies at various stages of production Good mechanical aptitude Excellent communication skills Experience with arc/mig welding Effective problem solving and root cause analysis Perform accurate readings with precision measuring instruments Understanding of Blue print readings Ability to walk or stand up to 12 hours Ability to grasp and use air and battery powered tools (grinder, plasma cutter, saws, etc.) Good written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Excel. All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience with industrial automation required. Automotive seating experience is preferred.
