QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

$24.00-$27.00 per hour
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to collect, test, and document samples to ensure products meet company quality standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an industrial environment and following detailed testing and safety procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect and test samples from designated sample points
  • Record and enter test results and production data accurately
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory testing equipment
  • Label, track, and properly store samples and materials
  • Investigate out-of-specification results and report concerns to supervision
  • Perform quality checks and maintain required documentation
  • Monitor laboratory supplies and notify supervision when restocking is needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Maintain radio communication with the control room
  • Communicate issues and provide a thorough shift handoff
  • Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures
  • Properly use required PPE
  • Participate in safety meetings and required training
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous quality control, laboratory, manufacturing, chemical processing, or related experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow written and verbal procedures
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills
  • Strong communication and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
  • Must be willing to complete required training and certifications #insj
