In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining the integrity of our production process. Your keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and expertise in quality systems will drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment where precision, compliance, and quality assurance are at the forefront of every product we deliver. Duties Conduct thorough inspections including raw materials, first piece, first article, in-process, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Perform dimensional measurements and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) analysis to ensure components meet quality standards in production. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all tools are within calibration standards for precise measurements. Identify non-conformances through detailed analysis, document findings accurately, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions. Participate in quality management reviews, support root cause analysis investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process. Requirements Proven experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment. Strong GD&T and mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications. Proficiency with measurement tools including height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for dimensional analysis and measurement conversions. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Preferred Aerospace manufacturing inspection experience. Experience conducting First Article Inspections . Experience operating and/or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) . Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems and aerospace customer requirements. Pay:
