Quality Control Inspector Job Description:
Boston's Best Coffee Roasters is looking for a qualified Quality Control Associate to join our team in our South Easton, MA facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices. The QC Technician will be responsible for the following: Inspect, test, document, and certify the conformance of products to Boston's Best Coffee Roasters's specifications Document and update production records according to GMP standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment and participate in regular safety reviews and training activities Assists in the effective completion and documentation of daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled tasks as required. Notifies FSQM or assistant when non-conformances are noted, assists with scheduling product evaluations, and assuring proper documentation. Operate, maintain and calibrate instruments as required. Perform other tasks as required
Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of GMP standards and practices Knowledge of quality systems and procedures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities in focus Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with good attendance required. Applicants with 2 years'+ experience in a food manufacturing, quality assurance position are preferred. Applicants who are bilingual Spanish or Portuguese are preferred.
