Full Job Description Job Description:
The Dimensional Analysis Technician I will perform dimensional measurements and analysis of automotive components and assemblies using CMM, Romer Arm, and 3D laser scanning equipment. The role will support engineering teams by preparing accurate dimensional analysis reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional measurements using Romer Arm, Fixed/Portable CMM, and 3D laser scanning equipment. Set up and tear down components on surface plates for measurement. Interpret technical dimensional documents and CAD models. Prepare and distribute dimensional analysis reports and results. Perform calibration checks and basic maintenance of CMM equipment. Maintain clean and organized measurement areas and equipment. Support engineering and customer projects while following established procedures.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge or experience with Romer Arm, CMM, PolyWorks, and Teamcenter . Basic knowledge of
CATIA, CAD
models, geometry, and mathematics . Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Ability to work independently, learn new technologies, and work overtime as needed.
Pay:
$21.00 - $21.40 per hour
