Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards through precise inspection and measurement processes. Your expertise will support compliance with industry regulations and internal quality systems, contributing to the delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality products. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with quality standards such as
ISO 13485, ISO
9001, and GMP, and experience in conducting comprehensive quality audits. Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product conformity. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents to accurately assess product specifications. Conduct quality audits in accordance with ISO standards, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory requirements. Utilize calibration procedures to ensure measuring instruments are accurate and compliant with quality management systems. Analyze inspection data to identify trends or deviations from quality standards in production processes. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Maintain detailed records of inspection results, measurement data, and audit reports for traceability and continuous improvement. Support the development and refinement of quality control procedures aligned with
ISO 13485, ISO
9001, and other applicable standards. Assist in training staff on proper measurement techniques and quality assurance protocols. Participate in internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with regulatory and legal standards. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with calibration of measuring instruments including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP, FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and CGMP practices. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions. Proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, and understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations related to dimensional inspections. Ability to operate precision measurement tools such as dial indicators, height gauges, and other measuring instruments effectively. Mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail ensures accurate assessment of product compliance. Strong communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating across departments.
