The Inspector with be responsible for performing various verifications including- quick visual inspections, perform complex tests using high precision instruments, gages and equipment, test measure and analyze products & perform sample testing. The inspector would have to accurately document results of performed inspections as per the Quality Management System. Job Responsibilities Performs incoming, in-process, final inspections, product and process audits Performs and documents accurate measurements and visual inspections as per Control Plan criteria Records inspection or test data; calculates results; writes test or inspection reports Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions Prepares sample boards Evaluates and reports waste / scrap Ensures product is produced to quality standards and works for conformance to specification Determines acceptability, identifies and recommends disposition of defective items in accordance with established procedures; initiate Non-Conformance Reports as required Assists in performing capability studies and Measurement system analysis Observes and reads instruments, gauges, dials, etc. to determine operating conditions Carries out written and verbal instructions to support quality processes Collaborates with Shift Leaders and Quality Engineers to resolve quality concerns.
