What we do: We are a 3M Preferred Converter and specialize in designing, fabricating, and distributing a wide variety of custom adhesive and die-cut solutions for over 45 years! Through a wide variety of converting technologies, we offer a diversity of products, ranging from simple die cut tapes, seals, and gaskets, to fully assembled sub-components. We utilize over 250 different raw materials, used for Attachment, Buzz, Squeak & Rattle / NVH, EMI Shielding, Fastening, Gasketing & Sealing, Labeling, Printing & Identification, Masking, Safety, Surface Protection, and Wind Noise / Sound Dampening.

Second Shift Delta Machine Operator

• Position for Argent International, Plymouth
• One Position Available Second Shift | 3:30 p.m.
• 2:00 am, Monday
• Thursday (10 hour shift) Second Shift Premium Applies No prior Delta machine operator experience required.

Training and support will be provided to ensure success in the role. We are looking to hire a second shift Delta machine operator. They will be setting up and operating the automated die cutting equipment at Argent International, Plymouth. Responsible for reading specifications in work orders. Loads material into automated die cutting equipment, adjusts and operates the machinery. Monitors and ensures a quality part is being made. Pulls jobs per the production schedule and is responsible for completing jobs on time and communicating any problems to the supervisor. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and overall to the Manufacturing Manager. What you'll do: Read job schedule. Read part prints. Setup of press (install tooling into applicable machinery). Programming of press. Make ready and run job to meet safety and productivity standards. Documents production quantities, production times, and quality problems. Identify ways to run jobs more efficiently. Examine cutting dies for visual defects and apply correcting solution. Removes tooling from machinery. Packages parts for shipping. Ensure information is communicated between shifts. Keep area clean and organized. Perform proper and required maintenance of Die Cutter. Help in other areas when needed. Input information into computer for proper tracking of inventory and waste. Supports and complies with all Argent International Quality Management Procedures, Quality manuals and safety requirements. Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to bend and lift cartons up to 30-40 pounds What you'll need: Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry Strong communication skills, ability to work well with teams and upper management PLEX experience extremely beneficial Strong leadership and team skills and a high desire to excel Strong computer skills High School Diploma or GED minimum, Technical Degree or Equivalent preferred 08/26/2026 ~ saa
