Job Overview Elmhirst Industries is an automotive sheet metal and short-run production stamping facility. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented CMM Inspector to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PC-DMIS , be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and understand the importance of accurate and timely inspection results to keep production moving. Responsibilities Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment and other precision inspection tools. Create, edit, and run CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS . Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements. Inspect stamped and fabricated sheet metal components to customer and internal requirements. Verify first-piece, in-process, and final inspection requirements. Accurately document inspection results and maintain required quality records. Identify dimensional issues and communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, and Production. Assist with troubleshooting dimensional and process-related issues. Work closely with production personnel to ensure parts meet customer requirements. Maintain inspection equipment and ensure measuring equipment is properly handled and maintained. Follow established quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform other quality-related duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Proficient in PC-DMIS is required. Previous experience as a CMM Inspector in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, tolerances, and inspection methods. Experience with automotive manufacturing, stamping, sheet metal, or short-run production is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attendance and timekeeping are required. Ability to work independently while also working effectively with others. Ability to communicate inspection results and quality concerns clearly. Comfortable working in a production environment where priorities can change quickly. Ability to maintain accuracy while working at a fast pace when production demands require it. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize potential quality issues. Ability to work with limited supervision and take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to work as part of a team. Work Schedule Our production environment typically operates 40-55 hours per week , depending on customer demand and production requirements. Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime when needed. Pay:

$27.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
