Job Description

Quality Inspector Position Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring products meet company quality standards and customer requirements. This position performs inspections, documents findings, identifies non-conforming products, and works closely with production teams to maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products and materials. Verify products meet specifications, drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. Use measuring and testing equipment. Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records. Knowledge of all structural and non-structural sealants for the following products DOWSIL GE/Momentive Knowledge of glass make up, low E-testing, glass surfaces, and inspecting. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production personnel in a timely manner. Perform audits and inspections according to established procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety policies. Understand miters both typical and compound Check paint for adhesion and sealant compatibility Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
