Job Description

Company Description Terra Star, LLC is a manufacturer of high-density polyethylene conduit and pipe for use in telecommunications, utilities, broadband and infrastructure across the nation. Position Description Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible to inspect product during the production process using calipers, micrometers, pi tape, and a weight scale as well as other "type" tests as required
  • Ensure that the product meets customer specifications, immediately reporting any defects to the immediate supervisor
  • Apply knowledge of product standards and make decision on product status and mark defect type when observed
  • Responsible for documenting all quality dimensions of product & production related information within a neat, accurate and timely manner
  • Use knowledge of required standards and specifications to inspect and tag reels
  • Test all incoming raw materials and record date of inspection
  • Maintains neat and orderly work area
  • Comply with, support, and promote all Terra Star safety policies
  • Complete all other tasks assigned by the immediate Supervisor Position Skills and Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment desired with a least one year of experience in quality inspection procedures. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of laboratory and inspection equipment, safety and quality standards, be reliable, self-motivated and a quick learner. We are hiring night shift positions, 8p-8a on a 2,2,3 schedule. Night shift does receive a $1.50 shift differential.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
