Key Responsibilities Verify that repairs have been completed correctly and according to the repair order Perform a thorough post-repair quality-control inspection Check for fluid leaks and other obvious issues Verify wheels/tires have been properly torqued Perform post-repair test drives when appropriate Listen and pay attention for abnormal noises, vibrations, warning lights, or other concerns Verify the vehicle is operating properly after repairs Inspect the vehicle for cleanliness and ensure the interior and exterior are presentable Return vehicles to the appropriate parking area and prepare them for customer pickup Document any findings or concerns clearly on the repair order Communicate directly with the technician who performed the work when an issue or concern is found Ensure identified issues are addressed before the vehicle is released whenever appropriate Shuttle customers to and from the shop safely and professionally Assist the team with other vehicle-related tasks as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Extremely detail-oriented Reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently Able to recognize when something doesn't look, sound, or feel right Comfortable communicating concerns with technicians and management Safety-minded and careful with customer vehicles Able to follow established processes and checklists consistently Professional and courteous with customers Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles Able to work in a fast-paced automotive shop environment Automotive Experience Automotive repair experience is preferred but not necessarily required for the right candidate. A strong mechanical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to follow a process are highly valued. We can train the right person on our specific QC procedures. Customer Service Because this position includes customer shuttle responsibilities, professionalism and customer service are an important part of the job. You will occasionally be the last member of our team to interact with a customer before they leave the shop, so we expect a friendly, respectful, and professional approach at all times. The Goal Our goal is simple: No vehicle leaves our shop until we are confident the work is complete, the vehicle is safe, the repair has been properly verified, and the customer receives it in a clean and presentable condition. The QC Technician plays a critical role in making that happen.
Schedule Start Time:
7:30 AM Full-time position. Specific end time and weekly schedule to be discussed during the interview. Why This Position Matters This is not simply a final inspection or vehicle cleanup position.
