Job Description

Job Title:
Quality Inspector/Technician Shift:

1st Shift;

Monday-Friday:

7:00a-3:30p

Location:
Burlington, NC Pay:

$20-$24/hourly based on experience We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector/Technician with expertise in establishing quality standards, reading blueprints, and recommending process adjustments to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Quality Standard Establishment:

Collaborate with the quality control team to establish and enforce quality standards for the products manufactured by the company. Ensure that all production operations meet established

ISO 9001

quality standards and comply with part specifications.

Blueprint Analysis:

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to verify that production operations align with design requirements. Recommend necessary improvements to production processes to enhance product quality.

Material and Equipment Inspection:

Inspect and test materials and equipment produced by the company to ensure they meet quality standards. Utilize precision measuring devices, including calipers, micrometers, pin gages, thread gages, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), to measure products accurately.

Non-Conformity Management:

Identify and remove products that do not meet production standards. Recommend strategies and improvements to enhance overall product quality.

Acceptance/Rejection of Finished Products:

Assess finished products against established quality criteria and accept or reject items accordingly. Communicate inspection results and collaborate with the production team to address any quality concerns.

Random Inspections:

Perform random inspections to assess product quality at various stages of production. Document findings and provide feedback to the production team for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a quality inspection role, preferably in an

ISO 9001

certified facility. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications. Familiarity with precision measuring devices, including calipers, micrometers, and height gages. Attention to detail and skills to recommend process changes. Ability to identify non-conformities, remove substandard products, and suggest strategies for improvement. Excellent communication skills to discuss inspection results with the production team.
