oin a Team That Builds Quality Into Everything We Do Spinnaker Contract Manufacturing is a growing Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider celebrating nearly 50 years of manufacturing excellence . We specialize in high-reliability printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), cable assemblies, and electromechanical products for customers in the industrial, medical, aerospace, defense, and commercial markets. We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector who takes pride in doing things right the first time. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and believe quality is everyone's responsibility, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do As a Quality Control Inspector, you will help ensure our products meet customer, IPC, and company quality standards by performing inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of PCBAs, cable assemblies, and electromechanical assemblies. Verify products meet customer specifications, drawings, workmanship standards, and IPC requirements. Inspect solder joints, component placement, labeling, mechanical assemblies, and finished products. Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records. Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming material. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues. Support first article inspections and new product introductions. Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions. Maintain calibration awareness of inspection equipment and measuring devices. Follow
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, ESD, and company quality procedures. Help drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience inspecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). Knowledge of
IPC-A-610
workmanship standards.
IPC-A-610
Certification (preferred but not required). Experience using measuring equipment such as: Calipers Micrometers Height gauges Optical inspection equipment Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or contract manufacturing. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or
ISO 13485
quality systems. Experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), such as FactoryLogix. What Makes You Successful You are someone who: Notices the small details others miss.
