General Job Duties:

Build/configure servers based on provided specifications and documentation Review orders for completeness and notify sales teams or engineering when incomplete Test/update components and update system firmware and BIOS. Troubleshoot any defective or failing parts Process transfers to manage proper inventory control Verify WO based on predetermined BOM Hardware breakdowns / Depopulation / Systems discovery and part number documentation Creating and affixing custom labeling branding materials Provide assets management for customer orders such as Asset Tags or custom labeling Assist in development of OS builds, deployment procedures and QC processes Execution of Quality Control for all products that process through the

Configurations Lab Specific Job Duties:

Build and/or configure servers and workstations to engineered approved customer specs Software deployment, testing and quality assurance: Install VMS Software and applications as needed, Load customer provided images predefined on WO, Deploy Linux & windows operating systems and QC work order BOM for component accuracy

Preferred Skillsets:

Proven experience as an assembler Functional knowledge of operating system function and deployment (W10/W11/Server 2019/Ubuntu) Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc. Ability in using tools (e.g., wrenches, drills, screwdrivers) and machines Good understanding of quality control principles Good communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition High school diploma: Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciated CompTIA A+ Certification Need to be able to lift approx. 50 lbs.
