Job Description

Title:
Quality Assurance Investigator Supervisor:
Assistant Director of Investigatory Activities The Quality Assurance Investigator is responsible to assist the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance in ensuring the thorough and timely investigation of all incidents and any other duty assigned regarding the day-to-day operations of the Quality Assurance department. E- Connotes Essential Functions E-1 Performs thorough and timely investigations of incidents in a manner that is consistent with IGHL, OPWDD and NYS Justice Center protocol, including the generation of findings, conclusions, recommendations and gaining assurance that recommendations are implemented in a timely manner. E-2 Generates investigation reports and any other assigned reporting responsibilities. E-3 Presents incident and investigation material to outside reviewers. E-4 Monitors the effectiveness and efficiency of the agency investigation protocol and formats, making recommendations for modifications as needed. E-5 Coordinates, organizes and stores all individual incident related evidence, documentation and correspondence. E-6 Interacts with the agency Incident Review Committee in order to report findings, review trends, provide consultation and implement committee recommendations. E-7 Responsible for the provision of agency staff training related to individual incidents, in written and verbal form.
E-8 24/7
on-call availability for the immediate investigation of incidents and any other administrative reviews as assigned. E-9 Maintains a high level of confidentiality. E-10 All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS A.
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred B. Three years of investigative experience working with the developmentally disabled population. C. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills D.
