Ensure that all the paperwork, records, and data that prove food safety and quality standards are being met are complete, accurate, and properly organized.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of production folders. Review production paperwork, including MD, foiling, labeling, cover pages, dump logs, and weight checks and ensure completion of QA/Production documents through supervisor and employee follow-up. Manage product samples, including labeling, transmittals, and retained sample library organization and digital log. Laminate signs and QC visuals to support production floor compliance. Maintain organization of quality records for audit readiness. Update records forms and electronic list of records and SOPs Print Forms, SOPs and prepare Binders when is required Collect QA documentation for raw ingredients and primary packaging from suppliers for the Supplier Approval Program. Coordinate and execute food safety training for employees, while providing administrative support to the QA team by maintaining training records, conducting follow-up activities, and monitoring training compliance. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Support record retention and retrieval requests (file pulling, sample pulling). Update and maintain chemical inventory and MSDS sheets. Ensure production paperwork is replenished on the production racks.. File and organize Production and QA Control paperwork (hard copy and electronic). Maintain logs for Positive Release, Hold, and Destruction Records. Control, update, and maintain retains documents and records. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred). Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or Clerical roles a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic database entry. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive records with discretion. Effective communication skills to follow up with employees and supervisors.
