Job Description:
Our company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector who will perform inspection of 1st piece, in-process, incoming components and finished parts against drawings and specifications by using properly selected tools and techniques. The QC Inspector will maintain documentation of inspection records, calibration and non-conforming material.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform first-piece, in-process, incoming, and final inspections of precision machined parts, assemblies, and purchased components. Inspect parts to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, including GD&T . Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, dial indicators, plug/pin gages, and optical comparator. Operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Identify and document nonconforming material. Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and calibration records. Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production to resolve inspection and manufacturing issues. Prepare inspection and quality documentation as required.
Qualifications:
Experience inspecting precision CNC-machined components preferred. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T. Experience using standard precision measuring equipment. CMM experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office. ERP/MRP experience is a plus. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
2015 is a plus. High school diploma, technical school, or equivalent experience.

7AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday. Available Overtime.
