27725 E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks including pumpers and tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, rescues of all sizes, quick attack units, industrial trucks, and ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting vehicles). SCOPE:
The QualityTechniciantests and inspectsmanufacturedproductsto ensurethe qualitystandardsand functionalityforthe vehicles built by E-ONE meet all customer and statutory/regulatory requirements.

TheQualitytechnician mayalsomonitortheinspection and testingactivities oftheproductionfloor or set up equipment tomonitorproduct conformance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide daily support to plant production and manufacturing operations Test functionalityof pumps, ladders, and all other related equipment Perform NFPA testing, Foam testing, FAA testing,Road testing,and other statutory testing Inspect products to ensure product meets workmanship standards and other requirements defined in work instruction, engineering bulletins, supplier manuals, etc. Audit prints, shop orders, change orders,etc., to ensure products arebuilt todocumentcustomer requirements. ConductNDT weld inspectionusingmagneticparticles,liquiddyepenetration, etc. Ensuremanufacturingquality records are complete and legible. Prepare ROPC's and certificates of conformance and test results Document non-conformances and verify rework. Consistently exercises discretion andjudgmentin the performance of work. Provide instruction and advice to production employees, dealers and customers on proper methods for inspection andtesting. Demonstratefunctionality andoperationof apparatusfor dealers and customers, asrequired. Work with 3rdparty testers to perform tests, document results, and ensure products meet requirements. Support all ISO requirements, including calibration, control of documents, control of records, control of non-conformingproducts,etc. Activelyparticipatein lean/continuous improvement of products and processes to better servethecustomer and improve operations. Utilize problem solving skills from identification through root cause resolution.

Perform orassistwith any operations, asrequiredor directed, to maintainworkflowor respond to production requirements.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Tape measure, angle finder,stopwatch, magnetic yoke, air flow meter (CAFS), digital refractometer, calibrated containers, truck scales,etc.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
SAFETY:
Follow E-ONE General Health & Safety Rules, ensure safe operating conditions withinareaof responsibility, and notify coworkers and supervisors of hazardous acts and conditions. Proper use of PPE; use only defect-free equipment. Promote safety indepartment. Use proper lifting techniques and overhead hoist when needed. Maintaincleanand safe working environment in line with 5-S Philosophy.

Participate in hazardouscommunication training and safety meetings.
QUALITY:
Responsible for the quality of work. This requires defect-free work and understanding of the requirements of the company's quality system as it pertains to job duties and responsibilities. Must be able to check work to ensure conformance to process control instructions, specifications, and quality standards.

Identifyand segregate non-conformingproducts.

Identifythe need for andassistin initiating and implementing corrective and preventive actions whenappropriate.
FLEXIBILITY
Able and willing to work in other areas as needed. Must be flexible in taking lunch and breaks when workflowrequires. Willing to workadditionalhoursasnecessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Mustpossessadvancedproblem-solvingskills from identification through root cause resolution. Minimum 5years' experiencein the operation or maintenance of Fire Apparatus, or equivalent. Must have thorough product knowledge, including functional operation Critical situations are common requiring superiorjudgmentand consistency with company policy. Must understand and be able to follow documented Test and Inspection Procedures. Must be able tooperateelectronic diagnostic machinery Knowledge of computer skills (Baan,E-ONE Portal,Data Entry, Word,Exceland Outlook) Ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers and fellow employees, andabilityto work indifficult situations. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of FAA and NFPA ObtainCDL license (Class A or B)within 12 months High school graduate or General Education Diploma Attention to detail Strong work ethic
