Horseheads, NY Employment type: Temporary with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment Nesco Resource is hiring a Quality Inspector to help ensure manufactured products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Most workweeks are 40 hours, with minimal overtime. Responsibilities Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections. Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and other inspection tools. Read engineering drawings and specifications, including standard and metric measurements. Record inspection results and SPC data accurately. Identify and help investigate defects or quality concerns. Support quality audits and improvements to inspection procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Qualifications Previous quality inspection experience preferred. Experience with precision measuring equipment and vision systems preferred. Ability to read engineering drawings and perform basic measurement calculations. Basic computer skills and familiarity with ISO quality processes preferred.
