2997519438-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Consolidated Precision Products is seeking an Aerospace Final Inspector for 1st Shift to ensure high-quality aerospace castings and machined components meet rigorous customer and regulatory standards. In this role, you will perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring tools, review documentation, interpret blueprints, and verify conformity to specifications. You will document results, support root-cause investigations, and collaborate with production and engineering to resolve nonconformances. This position operates in a highly technical manufacturing environment with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform final dimensional and visual inspection of aerospace castings and machined components Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM or similar) to verify specifications Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and inspection plans Document inspection results, nonconformances, and maintain quality records Verify compliance with customer, OEM, and regulatory standards Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for defects Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inspection area Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives Assist in calibration and proper care of inspection tools and equipment Required Skills Dimensional inspection Precision measuring instruments Blueprint and GD&T interpretation Aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP) Visual defect inspection Use of CMM or advanced metrology tools Nonconformance documentation Root-cause and corrective action support Quality system documentation (ISO 9001) Basic computer skills for data entry/reporting
