Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet strict quality standards by performing precise inspections, measurements, and audits throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold the company's commitment to delivering high-quality, safe products to our customers. Responsibilities Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Perform quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods in accordance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements including
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA
regulations, and GMP guidelines. Execute quality audits to assess compliance with internal procedures, ISO standards, and legal regulations; document findings accurately and follow up on corrective actions. Interpret manufacturing and engineering documents such as mechanical blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and production instructions to ensure proper adherence during assembly and fabrication processes. Utilize measurement tools like height gauges, dial indicators, and vision systems to perform precise dimensional assessments; analyze data for trends or deviations. Support calibration activities for measuring instruments to maintain measurement accuracy and reliability across all inspection tools. Assist in maintaining quality management systems by collecting data, preparing reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment; familiarity with QA/QC processes is essential. Strong knowledge of measurement instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM), height gauges, vision inspection systems, and precision measuring tools. Familiarity with industry standards including
ISO 13485
(medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), HACCP (hazard analysis), CGMP (current good manufacturing practices), and FDA regulations. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, GD&T symbols, and production documents accurately. Experience conducting quality audits and analyzing data for process improvements; excellent attention to detail is critical. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data analysis; proficiency with measurement instruments is required. Strong understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards applicable to manufacturing environments; ability to ensure adherence during inspections.
