Rotational shifts! 7AM to 7PM and 7PM to 7AM with weekends baked into the rotation!
Perform Random Product Audits as required, including Safety, QC Inspection, SOP audits and 5SCommunicate non-conformances during production audit'sTrain Operators and Technicians on test methods and AMI standardsFunction as Production Supervisor on occasion as required (after 1 year of service)
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with co-workers across all levels.

POSITION SUMMARY
Come be a part of an exciting transformation and help support the high-quality products coming out of our West Salem plant! This Quality Assurance Specialist plays an important role in maintaining product quality and certifications by performing required physical product testing, following established ASTM industry standards, and accurately documenting results to ensure products meet required quality, performance, and certification requirements.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Knowledge ofISO 9001
- Assisting with Implementation and maintenance of programOrganizational Skills
- Filing System
- Inspections logs and sample retention including
AAMA, VSI
requirementsPerform physical testing required to maintain certifications and record results per ASTM 7793 and ASTM 4726Knowledge of NCM Process for internal and external customers returnsMaintain calibration system for all existing devices, gages, instruments for your respective shift.Perform Random Product Audits as required, including Safety, QC Inspection, SOP audits and 5SCommunicate non-conformances during production audit'sTrain Operators and Technicians on test methods and AMI standardsFunction as Production Supervisor on occasion as required (after 1 year of service)
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Knowledge of the product or services in manufacturing- extrusion preferred.
