Quality Engineer I Parker Hannifin Corporation - 3.6 McMinnville, OR Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Research Full Job Description Position Summary Under direct supervision, monitors, tests, and inspects products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Responsibilities Monitors, tests, and inspects products to ensure they meet specified standards are free of flaws and functions as designed. May work in laboratory settings running tests and duplicating real-world conditions, using tools such micrometers, calipers, gauges, volt meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment to aid in quality inspections and assessments Participates in development of testing and inspection activities associated with product development and all stages of manufacturing. Defines and conducts both systematic methodical and random arbitrary tests to ensure proper performance of Parker Meggitt products. Performs internal audits of processes using inspection results and statistical techniques to Provide timely, accurate product analysis. Participates in root cause analysis initiatives for process-related concerns. Analyzes audit results and determines proper corrective and preventative action. Determines document control requirements per regulatory guidelines; review inspection forms and records for accuracy and compliance. Performs additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of quality engineering processes and regulatory requirements Ability to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving Effective customer orientation Ability to use existing procedures to solve problems Ability to research and analyze data effectively effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Well organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and database management tools.
