About the Role As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-performance standards by ensuring all manufactured units meet rigorous technical specifications. You will leverage your expertise in precision measurement and documentation to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across our production floor. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive receiving, in-process, and final inspections to verify product compliance with engineering prints and technical requirements. Manage the integrity of the quality management system, ensuring all documentation aligns with
ISO-9001
standards. Facilitate the resolution of quality discrepancies by collaborating directly with engineering and production teams to identify root causes. Oversee the administration of document control, including work instructions, non-conformance reports, and inspection logs. Conduct training sessions for personnel on quality protocols to ensure consistent adherence to company standards. Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, ensuring all measurement devices are accurate and properly tracked in our database. Support internal and supplier-facing audits to uphold organizational quality objectives. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings, schematics, and performance specifications. Expertise in using standard inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and portable CMM equipment. Strong working knowledge of MRP systems, preferably SAP, for data management. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail and independent execution. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation. Preferred Skills Background in foundry, steel mill, or heavy fabrication environments. Practical experience with NDE methods and weld inspection. Technical education or certification in machining, laboratory analysis, or related industrial fields. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar quality control software platforms.
