Description American Tinning & Galvanizing is looking for a highly motivated Quality Control Assistant! The QC Assistant should be familiar with QC documentation such as standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI), be able to read basic blueprints, read and understand material and processing specifications. Candidate will be extremely familiar with

quality systems along with Aerospace Finishing Specifications as they relate to metal finishing and aluminum treatments. Responsibilities would include overseeing daily quality control operations to ensure products meet company standards. The employee should be familiar with Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and possess excellent analytical skills needed to assess quality data and identify trends. The QC assistant will need to have the ability to work as a team as well as independently. Training personnel, assisting with internal and external audits, preparing, and presenting quality reports to senior management, and maintaining up to date inspection records and test results will also be required. This is a full time position that offers a full benefits package including 401K, health/dental/vision insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, life insurance, and paid time off.
