Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards by performing precise inspections, measurements, and audits throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold the company's commitment to delivering high-quality, safe products to our customers. Duties Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Perform quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods in accordance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements like
ISO 13485, FDA
regulations, and GMP. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to ensure accurate quality assessments aligned with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Execute regular quality audits and assessments to identify deviations from
ISO 9001, ISO
standards, HACCP protocols, and other quality management systems. Collect and analyze data related to measurement results, defect rates, and process performance; prepare detailed reports for management review. Support calibration of measuring instruments such as height gauges and other precision tools to maintain measurement accuracy. Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and improve overall quality systems. Skills Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices within manufacturing environments, including QA/QC procedures and quality management systems. Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM), height gauges, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring devices. Familiarity with industry standards including
ISO 13485
(medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience conducting quality audits and ensuring regulatory/legal compliance standards are met throughout production processes. Analytical skills for data collection, analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in quality control tasks. Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely while adhering to health and safety protocols related to quality inspection activities.
