Job Title:

Quality Control Technician Job Description 1st shift Responsibilities Prepare and perform various test samples on raw materials and finished products. Identify and investigate abnormal test results, conducting root cause analysis. Prepare and record documents that report the results of lab work. Work closely with local operations with a specific emphasis on supporting the production leadership teams. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills Hands-on work willingness and mechanical inclination. High school diploma or GED required. Proficiency in working with computers. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Additional Skills & Qualifications Industry experience within chemicals and/or manufacturing strongly preferred. Strong communication skills. Flexibility for overtime and shift hours required. Work Environment This role operates within an industrial products work environment. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The position requires adherence to safety regulations and involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working with industrial equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $22.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
