Permanent Employment Help for . Responsible for supporting the material processing operation by ensuring consistent and accurate

adhesive application to the fiber roll. Monitors the glue distribution process to confirm proper

coverage, enabling effective bonding of the wire backing to the fiber material.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Before beginning work, make sure all guards are in good repair and in the proper location.

Adjusts and maintains equipment settings as needed to ensure optimal adhesion and product quality.

Performs routine visual and functional inspections to verify that materials are properly aligned, coated, and

bonded according to production specifications.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve issues related to adhesive flow,

material inconsistencies, or bonding defects.

Communicate with QC tech for information about each order (number of rolls, bag lengths, number of bags,

and special packaging instructions.) Check the Customer Reference Manual for special instructions.

Restock unwind stand with plastic bags. Put empty cores in trash bin.

Cut bags for production runs. Keeping tail length to a minimum. Store neatly.

Doff rolls at the specified length and bag them as designated by the order and take them to the scale.

Bag edge trim and take to the baling area.

Make recommendations by notifying supervisor, to correct problems that could hinder a machines

performance, reduce output, or affect quality.

Make sure material is tracking and knives are cut correctly. Communicate any problems to QC Tech or Line

Lead.

Continuously inspect the material for nonconformance, such as thin spots, trash, tears, color streaking, wet

spots, lumps, etc. Inform QC Tech of any quality problems immediately.

Assist QC Tech in measuring and checking widths of rolls.

Always stay accessible to the work area.

Compare the product being produced to the hand sample.

Make sure edge trim is kept at a minimal.

Transfer scrap material to baler.

Turn bottom sprays on or off when appropriate.

Perform other duties as assigned by department supervisor/lead person.

Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or

unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

Wears assigned designated Personal Protective Equipment.

Attend mandatory Safety meetings as scheduled.

Maintains OSHA standards compliance as described in company safety policies (LOTO).

Possesses the ability to bend and stoop.

Lift up to 50 pounds.

Follow directions and instructions well.

Walk, stand, and sit for a 12-hour shift. Three fifteen-minute breaks. One 30-minute lunch break.
