The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards through precise inspection, measurement, and analysis. The ideal applicant will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with measurement instruments and blueprints, and experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Duties Main Duties; Quality Control. Assist in creating QC libraries and documentation. Organizational skills of programs and documents. Layout formats/cleanliness-organization skills of tooling & all equipment. Assist in the assembly department as needed The office computer will be available where you will execute all the QC reports and files. The majority of the day is spent on the shop floor. Random inspection (ITP's) of what is coming in and being manufactured at Ludman. Keep the CMM maintenance and cleanliness. This job may at times require travel for outside vendor inspections and documentation. Company will provide immediate training from Keyence on how to fully operate the CMM devices. Requirements Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing setting. Proficiency with calibration and use of measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision systems, and other precision measurement tools. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents accurately. Familiarity with quality systems including QA/QC procedures, data collection methods, and quality audits. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data analysis. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret GD&T specifications and apply them effectively during inspections is helpful.
